Community Drama Training
This programme is aimed at community based groups and organisations who work with young people in disadvantaged communities and wish to use drama in their work. It offers training for community/youth workers over a six month period.
Community Drama Training - Phase One
The first phase of NAYD's training course for youth and community workers began in Drogheda on 30 January. Drogheda was chosen as the first of four regions for this six-month programme. The participants are from B.O.Y.N.E. and CABLE Garda Diversion Projects, Southside Community Youth Project and Drogheda Youth Development.
The course has been specifically designed to aid community workers who wish to develop new skills in drama facilitation as an alternative means of engaging with young people.
The participants have kindly agreed to update us on their progress via the NAYD blog..
