Staff and Volunteers
Sample Facilitator Agreement
When it comes to engaging the services of a facilitator, it is recommended that youth theatres develop an agreement. This is so that there is clarity around roles, time-commitment, payment etc. It is less likely for difficulties to arise if both parties are clear what to expect.

Garda Vetting
As of 1st September 2006, Garda Vetting was extended to cover non-statutory sectors such as youth work and the voluntary sector. It is now accepted best practice to vet all staff/volunteers with substantial unsupervised access to children and young people.

The policy below details the terms of membership of the consortium and the procedures for submission of forms. It also provides guidance on dealing with returned convictions/prosecutions.
