Would you like to take part in a residential programme of drama workshops through Irish during the October mid-term break?

NAYD is seeking a group of youth theatre members who are willing to participate in drama workshops conducted through Irish for a three-day youth drama programme, taking place at the Axis Arts Centre in Ballymun, Dublin. Participants should be comfortable with conversational Irish but they don’t have to be fluent.

The ‘Speaking Our Language’ residential is taking place as part of a new partnership between NAYD and Axis to commission a play for young ensembles in the Irish language. The work carried out during the residential will provide inspiration for the commissioned playwright who will also be one of the theatre artists leading the programme.
