NYT
'08 : 'Twas Magical
A huge well
done and congratulatons to everyone involved in A Midsummer
Night's Dream. The production was a big success with
a sell out run and standing ovations every performance. The cast
of 20 youth theatre members were totally committed over the four
weeks of rehearsals as illustrated by so many wonderful performances.
After a short break we will
be gearing up to do it all again next year so make sure you keep
reading the newsletter and visiting the NYT
page on our website for updates on auditions etc. |

| The
new youth theatre season kicks off with the arrival of the 2007-2008
edition of Youth Drama Ireland.
HIghlights
include an interview with actor Aiden Gillen, Jonothan Neelands
on Quality in Youth Theatre, Willie White in conversation with John
McGrath of Contact (UK), a look back at NYT 07 and of course a round
up of the year in youth theatre.

Skill Sharing Network's next meeting will take place in The Dock,
Carrick on Shannon on Saturday 13th September.
This
is a collective of drama facilitators and youth theatre leaders
created to pool resources, share ideas and material.
