Big
Changes
After
thirteen years in Gardiner Street, NAYD has moved round
the corner to North Great George's Street. The new address is 7 North Great George's Street, Dublin 1.
Anna Galligan,
NAYD's Youth Theatre Officer, has left to join Barnstorm Theatre
company. Anna has been an integral part of NAYD over the past 10 years
and we want to wish her all the best in her new role and thank her for
her huge contribution to the organisation.
Professor Aine
Hyland, former Professor of Education and Vice President of UCC,
is the
new chairperson of NAYD. She takes over from Caoimhin Corrigan.

The Artist in Youth Work Scheme
is offered by NYCI and the Arts Council to extend and enhance young
people's participation in the arts. There are two awards under the
scheme: Artist in Youth Work Residency and Youth Arts Development
Award. Cosing date is Friday

Dail Na nOg
2010 is seeking to create a panel of experienced faciltators. The
commitment would be two and a half days. The role is a voluntary one
with reimbursement of travel expenses. Visit the

National Campaign for the Arts was launched at the end of
September.
NCFA is calling for the retention of Culture Ireland as well as well as
resisting further cuts to Arts Council funding.
The campaign's message focusses on why the Arts are
central to economic
