Have you visited the NAYD website resources section recently?  Not only do we have a number of Advice Sheets on running a youth theatre, welfare etc. but you will also find a section devoted to workshops that have been tried and tested in the youth drama space.  Visit Resources.

NAYD has teamed up with the National Youth Council of Ireland to offer a one-day training course introducing simple directing techniques for working with young people. Topics will range from choosing suitable scripts to devising with a group. The day will also explore simple staging and production ideas. It will take place in Dubin on 30th March and is designed for those who work and volunteer within the youth work sector.
