NYT Updates

The cast has now been chosen for this year's National Youth Theatre production. Sixteen young people representing ten youth theatres will take to the stage of the Peacock Theatre from 22-27 August after a five week rehearsal process. Tickets will be on sale very soon from the Abbey Theatre Box Office. There will be a special rate for youth theatre members.

The production will be devised by the cast and director Mikel Murfi. Already a concept is beginning to emerge............

Making Connections Report

You can now download the report on the  International Training Course hosted by  NAYD  in 2010. The report contains workshops, advice on planning international exchanges and a general overview of youth exchanges under the Youth In Action Programme.

Artstrain - now recruiting

The waiting list is now open for NAYD's drama facilitation training course, the next round to begin in September 2011.The course is funded through the FAS Local Training Initiative and is FETAC accredited. Those interested must register with FAS.

Garda Vetting

June 30 is the next closing date for submission of garda vetting forms by members of NAYD's Garda Vetting Consortium. Contact Katie to order forms or to find out more about the consortium.

Thursday 14th July is the closing date for the next round of Bursary Awards. Included in this round is the Young People, Children and Education Bursary Award.  Applications are through the Arts Council's online services website.
