Directors'
Workshop
NAYD's first
event of 2010 will be a day for directors of the New Stage plays. It
will take place on Saturday 13
February.
The workshop
will allow directors an
opportunity to examine all aspects of bringing the scripts to
production and there will be professional set, lighting and sound
designers on hand to advise.

Funding

The
closing date for the Arts Council Bursary Award is 21 January. This
scheme is open to individual artists in a range of artforms including
Theatre.

ex-ArtsTrain participants. They are looking for 14 participants aged
18+ to come together to develop ideas and devise original drama

The
Skills Sharing Network for youth theatre/ youth drama facilitators has
announced that their first meeting of 2010 will be in Cavan on 30
January.
The day will feature a number of practical workshops sessions. To join

Finally
we wish all our members, friends and supporters a very Happy
Christmas. 2010 will be a difficult year for youth theatre
and
the arts in general. NAYD will endeavour to support our members
in any way we can and we will be in touch with all affiliated groups
