NYT:
Livin' A Dream
Rehearsals
are well underway for the National Youth Theatre's production of A
Dream Play by August Strindberg, in a version by Caryl
Churchill. The
production is directed by Jimmy Fay and will run in the Peacock from
23-28 August. Tickets are selling well and early booking is advised. Find out how to book.
To
support youth theatres who wish to attend a performance, NAYD are
offering reduced rate tickets to youth theatre members (12 Euro!). We can also subsidise the cost of travel. Contact

The

Youth Arts – Dark of the Moon

Part
of WYA's 25th anniversary programme, on stage at Garter Lane. Directed
by Jim Nolan and set in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina in
the 1930's, it featurers a large cast with live music and song
throughout.

The
play is based on ancient greek comedy, The Assemblywomen by Aristophanes,
in a translation by George Theodoridis. It will be directed by Liam
O'Brien. The venue is the Belltable (off site).

Scheme and the Theatre Project Award. The deadline for the Small Arts Festival Scheme is also approaching. (10 Sept).

the artistic development strand of the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre
Festival. This is an amazing opportunity for theatre
practitioners to immerse themselves in the festival and is open to all
