Rehearsals are well underway for this year's National Youth Theatre production, The Seagull by Chekhov, in a version by Martin Crimp. Expect the unexpected in this cheeky and inventive production featuring 16 youth theatre members. It is directed by Wayne Jordan, one of Ireland's most exciting young directors.

A date for your diary! Readings of the three plays commissioned as part of NAYD's New Stage project will take place on Saturday 3rd October in Dublin. We will be confirming the venues and times very soon!  Find out More

The closing date for the next round of Garda Vetting is Friday September 25th. Any adults involved in your youth theatre with substantial unsupervised access to members should be vetted.

Forms are available from the NAYD Office and can be requested by emailing Anna Galligan. A section on Garda Vetting is now included in our Advice Centre.
