Youth Theatre Members Forum
After a hiatus, the Youth Theatre Members Forum is back! For the member who is interested in getting involved in the organisational and planning aspects of youth theatre and who wants to meet like-minded folk.
YTMF 2011
The big event on the Youth Theatre Members Forum calendar in 2011 is a national event bringing YTMF reps from all over the country together. This will be a great opportunity for youth theatre members to represent their youth theatre nationally and meet members from youth theatres accross the country.

YTMF: A busy 2010
The Youth Theatre Members Forum was re-launched in 2010 with sessions taking place in a number of regions around the country including Greater Dublin, Northwest Midlands and South West Munster. Participants were aged 16-21 and had an interest in the organisational, development and planning aspects of youth theatre. Among the topics for discussion were around the benefits of youth theatre membership, artistic programming and the role of NAYD.
The aims of the sessions were:
- to create a space where young people were able to share their experiences and express their views on youth theatre practice in their region.
- the establishment of a regional panel for a National Youth Theatre Members Forum.
- to give members an opportunity to participate in a workshop independent of their own local youth theatre.
Regional sessions will continue in 2011.
